Peter passed away on his way home late Christmas Eve (no reindeer involved) after spending the evening with friends enjoying some good food and company but his heart just gave up.
Peter was born in Sault St. Marie and went to school and graduated from Gravenhurst High School, Ontario.
He is predeceased by his parents Bruce and Bee and brothers Bob and Greg.
Peter is survived by brother John (Victoria) and sisters Pat (Gravenhurst), Christine (Bracebridge) and Barb (Edmonton).
Peter spent his adult life living and working as a cook in Banff, Jasper, Dawson City and Penticton.
He enjoyed the fine things in life - good food, a cold beer, old scotch, good friends, a pretty lady, books, football and any game of chance.
Peter will be missed greatly by family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the Copper Mug January 12, 12:30 - 4:00. Beef, Beer and Football his favourites.
