It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Perry, on December 20, 2021 in Penticton. Bob was a husband, father, friend, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. Bob touched the hearts of numerous people who entered his life. Cherished and survived by his wife Jean and her children Rolf (Sherry) and Rhonda (Dan). Bob is also survived by his five children and their families: Colin (Sherri) Perry and children (Jordon, Cody, and Dillion); Neil (Rosane) Perry; Lynn Gessner and Children (Jesse, Lukas and Heidi); Kim (Trevor) Lorenz and children (Richelle, Zach, Devin); Trent (Michelle) Perry and Child (Ema). Bob also had two great grand children, McKenna and Zayne. Bob was predeceased by his wife and mother of his children, Mona. Bob was also predeceased by son-in-law Tino Gessner.
Bob grew up in Humbolt, Saskatchewan and later resided in Calgary, Alberta where he and Mona raised their 5 children, and owned and operated a construction crew, teaching his boys what he knew. He eventually moved to Penticton and successfully managed, Spanish Villa apartment for many years until the passing of his first wife, Mona.
Bob had a passion for life, enjoying spending time at the legion with friends at which time he met Jean, spending evenings socializing. He was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and very proud of it. Bob was also very proud of his five children and their families. Bob had a passion for constructing and designing furniture, toys and other items.
Bob always had a smile on his face that would light up the room when he entered.
You will be missed...We love you to pieces!!!
