Robert (Bob) Karl Bidlake passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 20th in Penticton, BC. Bob was predeceased by his loving mother and father, Harriett and Ralph Stokes and is survived by his younger brother Bill Bidlake (wife Lesley Lacroix), nieces Brittney and Holly Bidlake, along with cousins Lynne and Rob Whiskin.
Working for Revenue Canada after graduating from Simon Fraser University, he enjoyed a full career in the government. An avid historian and traveler, Bob's greatest adventures in life were found on the beaches of Thailand.
The family wishes to thank all of the staff of Haven Hill and Penticton Regional Hospital for their care and compassion over the years and particularly in his final days.
