November 20, 1931 - December 27, 2021
It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Bud Perry.
Bud passed away peacefully on December 27th with his family by his side.
He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Carol, his daughters Debbie (Brian), Linda, Shannon, and Lisa (Chris), as well as grandchildren Kristen (Andrew), Jana, Cari, Greg, and Selby (Fahim) and great grandson Rhett. He is also survived by his youngest brother John (Jackie) and many nieces and nephews.
Bud was born and raised in Salmon Arm and had strong family ties being the 12th of 13 children. He loved sports, especially lacrosse and basketball and had a special place in his heart for horses.
He worked in the logging industry and moved to several remote locations and eventually settled in Coquitlam to raise his family. He loved spending time with his family whether it was camping, fishing, skiing, coaching his kids many sports teams or visiting extended family.
He eventually retired in the Okanagan and embraced the retirement lifestyle. He was always very active. He and Carol loved to golf, dance, horseshoe, and travel together. They enjoyed the time they spent as snowbirds making homes in Hawaii and Arizona.
Bud was a kind, generous man who touched the lives of many people and will be remembered for his easy going and caring nature. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a big heart and will be greatly missed by all of us.
We will cherish all the memories and keep him in our hearts forever.
