March 15, 1950 - February 28, 2022
It is with sadness that the family of Ronald Allen Farnholz, known as Ron, announce that he passed away suddenly at the Penticton Regional Hospital on February 28, 2022. Ron is survived by his wife Evelyn, daughters Rhonda, Cheryl and Christine, grandson Ayden, granddaughter Savannah, siblings Bernie, Dave, Carol (Garry) and Elaine (Trent), along with nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by parents Otto and Kay Farnholz.
Ron was born in Barrhead, Alberta on March 15, 1950. However, he spent that latter part of his youth and most of his adult life in Penticton. He was a mechanic and local businessman in Penticton.

Ron was a keen hunter and fisherman, as well as a snowmobiler and darts player. He was one of the original members of the South Okanagan Snowmobilers Club. Ron loved to cook and enjoyed having friends and family over. He had a great sense of humour and loved to tease those around him.
One of Ron's favorite places was his cabin in the Christian Valley. Many a weekend family and friends would find him there, puttering around his property or feeding anyone who visited.
Ron did not wish for a funeral or service; his ashes will be interred privately by the family. Details of a Celebration of Ron's Life will be announced at a later date.
