It is with a heavy heart we announce that Ronald Lewis Marshall, son of Carmella (Millie) & Stewart Marshall and brother Howard passed away peacefully with the love of his life and best friend of 30 years, Judy at his side.
Ron was born in Penticton, BC where he grew up playing in the outdoors, building forts, and getting into mischief with his younger brother Howard.
He enjoyed years of skiing with the family at Apex and the freedom of his dirt biking which quickly grew to his passion for motorcycles.
He was always an avid baseball fan and Blue Jays got his full support, never missing a game on T.V.
Ron loved evenings fishing with Judy on the lakes around Penticton but his real love become the sanctuary behind their apartment.
The birds and ducks quickly recognized his soft spot and were not shy to sit on the balcony rail or call him from below to feed them. Harry the Heron will, I am sure, miss him dearly, as they all will.
While Ron faced many challenges in his life, he was a clever gentle man with a twinkle in his eye, kind and caring.
In Honour of Ron, be especially kind to our four-legged and feathered friends who gave him much entertainment and comfort for many years.
