November 13, 2024

In loving memory ~

It is with the deepest sadness we announce the passing away of Ross on November 13th, 2024, his 63rd birthday, after a short battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Debbie; children: Tyler (Emily), Jade (Albion): His stepdaughters Christina (Nathan), Kathy (Ryan) along with his granddaughter Zara as well as his step-grandchildren: Ben, Sara, Keely, Austin, Connor, Tristin and Jon, his sister Carrie and parents Aki and Mich along with many extended family members.

Ross worked at the Royal Bank of Canada for over 35 years. He received many awards during that time and became known as the "Godfather" of Financial Planning by his peers. He impacted the lives of so many he mentored, worked with and advised throughout the years. He retired 3 years ago, and his clients still ask about him when they go into the branch. He was one of the best.

He played hockey in his younger years and coached after he started a family. Ross was a car guy. He loved buying them, restoring them, driving them and looking at them. He always looked forward to poker nights and golf with the guys, but oh how he loved it when his kids came home to visit (which they always did).

Ross will always be remembered as a steadfast and unwavering presence, with a gift for humor and kindness that touched the lives of everyone he knew. His legacy lives on through the profound impact he had on his family, friends and peers. We miss him so much
