Born on July 19, 1924 in Silverton, B.C. and died October 30, 2018 in Penticton, B.C. at 94 years old.

Preceded by husband lawrence (Biondie) Maxwell Johnson, parents Rueben Minor (Stanley) Wilson and Mary Reta Rogers, step- father Watson Middleton, siblings Mary McGuire, Cliff Wilson, lillian Clark and Ellen Middleton.

Survived by sister Alice Proctor, children Wayne Johnson (Marion), Gail Johnson (Kim), Carol Panko (John), grandchildren lincoln Johnson, Tara Scoullar-Walk (Stephen), Eric Scott (Brandy), Andrew Scott, Evan Scott (Caley), Tyler Scott (Amy) and Jessica Mills (Travis), great-grandchildren Mia Scoullar-Walk, Jaxson Scott, Emerson Scott, Keiara Scott, Madison Scott and Noah Scott.

Ruby was a teacher in Passmore, Allen Grove and New Denver. Ruby married Blondie, a Greyhound bus driver in 1946. Ruby was a substitute teacher in Nelson and Penticton, BC. as well as a Presbyterian Sunday School teacher in Penticton. A member of the Canadian legion, the Rebekah lodge #32 in Summerland, N.G. and P.N.G. Rebekah lodge Red land #12 in Penticton and Past District Deputy for Rebekah #12.
