Harris, Ruth Vandela

August 18, 1914 to October 5, 2016

Ruth passed away peacefully at Moog and Friends Hospice House in Penticton, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick) in 1994, as well as one sister and six brothers. She lived most of her life in Prince Albert, Sask, and moved to Calgary in 1966, and then to Penticton in 1978. She cooked the best pult and Swedish meatballs. Mom was her happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Beverly (Robert) Paulson of Penticton, Jackie (John deceased) Ogryzlo, and son Ed (Carol) Grimes of Calgary; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A family memorial will be held in Calgary at a later date. We would like to thank her doctor, Dr Richard Tatham, and the staff at Moog House for their compassionate care.
