It is with deep sadness that the family of Tim Smith, announce his passing.

Predeceased by his wife, Margaret, his siblings, Blanche Wilkes, Robert Smith, and W Herbert Smith; he leaves to mourn, his four children; Sherry Holtet of Edmonton Ab, Merrilee Buss (Cliff) of Salmon Arm BC, Kevin Smith (Eleanor) of Penticton, and Trudy Smith of Edmonton Ab.; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Born and raised on the farm south of Lloydminster, Sask., Tim left home at 15 years of age to work as farm help during WWII. He and Mom were married in Lloyd, in 1950, and made their first home in Leduc, Alberta. The family moved to Penticton in spring of 1957. Tim worked as a carpenter, and apiarist (beekeeper and honey producer); loved hunting and fishing and the great outdoors.

A Celebration of Life, and spreading of ashes to take place at a later date.

Memorial donations in Tim’s honour, may be made to the SPCA, or charity of one’s choice.
