Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
Woody is survived by his loving partner Eleanor Payment; son Ben Woods; father George Woods; brothers: Bob (Tammy) and Don (Debbie); sister Georgia (Bill) Wiltse; Eleanor's children: Pam and Wes Cooper and Jackson and Charity Penney and many nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his mother Margaret Ann.
In his younger years he was an avid skier and belonged to the Apex Ski Patrol. Fishing was also a fun time for Woody. He was an active member of the Eagles and enjoyed socializing in the lounge.
A celebration of life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1197 Main St., Penticton on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
