Passed into the Lord's presence on March 26th, 2018 in Penticton, BC with his family by his side.
He was born September 17th, 1928 in Edmonton, AB. He is survived by his loving children, Lorene Dammann (John), Bruce Coffin (Brenda), Nora Currie (Morris). He will be fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren, Jenny McMurphy (Shawn), Brent Ankrom (Dayna), Jared Currie (Jamie), Kyle Currie (Kendal), Britney Currie (Sasha), Janell Currie (Laine), Chloe and Gracie Coffin; and his four great-grandchildren, Jade, Jackson, Lennox and Melania. He is predeceased by his loving wife Pauline in 2011.
He was blessed with 34 years of retirement and many friends, by whom he will be dearly missed.
Ole "Blue Eyes" was a skilled harmonica player jamming weekly at the Red Wing and a regular on the karaoke circuit, captivating audiences with his heartfelt rendition of "My Way".
Bill was a sharp dressed man with a jovial spirit who thoroughly enjoyed a glass of draft beer. He played and loved hockey, enjoyed golfing, but above all else Gramps adored spending time with his family.
