Win, loving mother and friend to Paul (Alain Fortier) and Linda (John Dunn), passed away peacefully on August 14, 2016. She was predeceased by husband Paul. Grandma Winnie will be missed by grandsons Andy (Meagan), and Chris (Crystal); great grandchildren Broedy, Aiden, Cadence, Grayson, Declan and Lowan; and fondly remembered by her brother Herb Bieber, sister Ruth Hurst, brother-in-law Bob (Mary) Younger and her nieces and nephews and their families, many of whom visited her in the Penticton Hospital while at the Kopf/Bieber family reunion to celebrate her life.
Win had many friends, particularly those at the Summerland Senior’s Village. Win’s family would like to thank Dr. Krabbe and her team and the caring staffs at Summerland Senior’s Village, Penticton Regional Hospital and Moog & Friends Hospice House. We would request any donations to go to the Moog & Friends Hospice House, Win’s final peaceful resting place, c/o Penticton & District Hospice Society, 129 Nanaimo W., Penticton, BC V2A 1N2. A Memorial Service will be held in Summerland in the fall where she will reside beside Paul.
