December 13, 1935 - February 1, 2019
Born in Oszko, Hungary December 13, 1935; passed away in Penticton February 1, 2019. Zoltan is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Ilona and many nieces and nephews in Hungary. He was predeceased by his three brothers and two sisters.

Zoltan came to Canada from Hungary in 1957 arriving in the Yukon where he spent 8 years before settling in the Okanagan. He ran a bakery in Princeton for many years and then worked for the Department of Public Works. In his retirement he and Ilona maintained an orchard in Kaleden. Zoltan was a founding member and president of the South Okanagan Hungarian Club for many years for which he worked hard. He was known for his kindness, generosity and hospitality and was never one to say no to a favour. Ilona wishes to thank everyone who has helped him through the years.

A Memorial Mass will take place Friday, February 22, 2019 10:30 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 1296 Main St. Penticton. Memorial donations may be directed to Moog & Friends Hospice or The South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation.
