I suggested after reading about the financial difficulties of one of our cottage wineries in Penticton that we should look at marketing our wines in other countries. I outlined the market opportunities in China. They are fantastic and they are hungry for North American wines

China investors are eager to invest in Canada as they are taking precautions to protect their wealth. So why not let their members know?

It was refreshing to see the article in the Western News, “Winery taps into China markets” by your staff writer Kristi Patton.

My point is that we have enough retired professional people in Penticton to draw on for their expertise if we want to.
