Grateful to museum staff

Several businesses and organizations in our community have generously supported Grand Times at the Penticton Museum. This program provides a place for grandparents, including those who are raising their grandchildren, to bring the kids and spend some time together.

Several businesses and organizations in our community have generously supported Grand Times at the Penticton Museum. This program provides a place for grandparents, including those who are raising their grandchildren, to bring the kids and spend some time together.

We would like to thank Peter Ord and staff of the Penticton Museum and Archives for providing support and a wonderful space for the program. Also, thank you to the Penticton Marketplace IGA and the Friends of the Penticton Museum and Archives for providing some of our meals, Theo’s for spicing up our grand opening, Wal-Mart for providing some of our craft supplies, Interior Health for providing our speakers (dietician Jesse Colbeck, speech language pathologists Frances Monro and Liz Zischa), and the South Okanagan Genealogical Society for providing our ancestry project. We would also like to thank this newspaper for sending reporter Steve Kidd to help us tell the community about our program.
