Some Summerlanders who missed out on the xeriscape and irrigation workshops presented in May might wish they had attended after receiving their first metered water bills.
They have a second chance. The same two workshops are being offered in September: xeriscape on Sept. 11 and irrigation on Sept. 17. People who attend will learn how to reduce the water they use on their present landscaping, how to plan a waterwise landscape, and the easiest and most efficient ways to irrigate that landscape. They will tour local properties to see those methods in action.
