Airport Road a disgrace

The road leading into the Penticton airport is an utter disgrace to our fair city.

With no street lights, changing surface colouration due to patching, no white curb lines, and only a very faded yellow centre line — it is surely a white-knuckle experience driving to and from the airport at night and much, much more-so on a rainy night when the centre line can’t be seen at all and on-coming headlights are blinding.

The level of government that has jurisdiction over Penticton’s airport road must upgrade this disgraceful roadway as soon as possible before a serious accident occurs.
