“If everyone is thinking alike then somebody isn’t thinking.” - George S. Patton

Do you remember the council meeting when the Trio/waterslide deal was first brought to a public meeting? Do you remember that not one person sitting at the council table made any objection to that deal?

Wasn’t Jason Cox president of the Chamber of Commerce at the time? During that meeting he raved about what a good idea the project (which included upgrades to the marina), would be.

How would he know? The city did not ask for any financials and kept insisting any opposition just didn’t understand the proposal.

Not one of them were thinking, and certainly not thinking of the public’s best interest.
