Just returned to Penticton from visiting friends in Barrhead, Alta. where we enjoyed 85 cents per litre price for regular gasoline.
We expected prices there to be significantly lower than back here, but were surprised to see Clearwater, B.C. price at $1.05 per litre and Kamloops at $1.03. So we thought perhaps prices had come down all over since left 10 days ago when they were $1.179 in Penticton.
When we got back to Penticton and saw that they were still at $1.179 here, I wondered why the big difference between Clearwater/Kamloops and Penticton. Does anyone know why that is? Perhaps one of the local retail gas station owners can explain?
