Letter: Kinney won’t be safe

Please keep the Parkway school children and the seniors that walk daily on Kinney Avenue safe.

Have you ever taken your child or grandchild to school in the morning?

Then drive past the new development on Duncan Street and picture that beside the Parkway Elementary School on Kinney Avenue.

Broadstreet  Developer’s, hope the new 119 apartments will forgo vehicle ownership as said in their proposal, in other words they do not believe they have sufficient parking. So the apartment residents will be parking on Kinney Avenue compounding the problem of safety with the school children.

This property could be a wonderful addition to Rotary Park, or leave it zoned as R1.

Please keep the Parkway school children and the seniors that walk daily on  Kinney Avenue safe.
