Why can’t our mayor and council reach out and just talk to us citizens, their employers, one-on-one?
Why can’t we have a two-way dialog, ask questions, listens to our answers and make us feel like they have heard us?
Why does this council need to hire a mouthpiece to do their job, talking and listening to those whom they represent?
This engagement officer is a total waste of our money, and why were we not consulted before the decision was made to hire this person? Is it because our council could not engage us on their own?
Wow, now doesn’t this speak volumes on who we regrettably elected to represent us?
Note to future council; look us in the eye and engage us directly if you want a chance in hell of ever getting my vote.
