Letter: Nothing wrong with change

It never ceases to amaze me when people don’t want any changes to a park, a city, a school district.

It never ceases to amaze me when people don’t want any changes to a park, a city, a school district or any of the myriad of things that make up a community.

Are people so into themselves and the status quo that any change is perceived as threatening?

Skaha Park has been changed many times over the years and now that there are new changes proposed they are bad.  What about the new concessions, the extra parking lots, the exercise equipment, sand volleyball, etc. etc.?  Stop living in the past and look to the future.
