I would like to ask you to please not put a waterslide in our lovely park. It will become an eyesore, eventually, just like the one on Main Street did, and every one of them eventually does.
I do not dislike children at all. A waterslide would be better suited on a hill overlooking Skaha Lake, like where the car track is, or someplace similar. I simply do not want beautiful parks ruined with these huge plastic monstrosities.
It will be regrettable in the future and people will ask, why did the city do this? Once it is there, and the thrill has worn off, as it does, it will cost a fortune to dismantle it as well.
