Slide The City was incredible. What a fantastic idea! Thank you to the homeowners on the north side of Vancouver Avenue for their tolerance and good sportsmanship. Yes, it was expensive, but what’s more expensive is driving up the valley, or to Edmonton or Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to let your children experience a water slide. Not all old people are opposed to making Penticton a better place for children to live, with healthy sports and activities.
