I would like to thank the very generous businesses and people of Penticton for their offers of space for the Mirror Image Room, a room that provides wigs and headwear for women going through chemotherapy after a cancer diagnosis.
We have found a wonderful space with Dr. James Cooper, chiropractor at 3373 Skaha Lake Rd. As soon as we are able, we will once again be helping clients find a suitable wig or head covering, free of charge. We expect to open during the first week of September.
I would especially like to thank the following for their support and offer of space: The Cannery, Hat Hideaway, City Centre Pharmacy and Brad Houston of the United Church. Also, thank you for the story in the Western News which generated a great response. Very much appreciated.
The volunteers and I are very enthusiastic and pleased that this much needed service will remain in Penticton to serve the South Okanagan-Similkameen Region.

Mirror Image Room co-coordinator Penticton
