Penticton Western News letter to the editor

Letter: Vacant Legion would be a good fit to host Monday Night Dinners

“But, the mayor owns this building, so don’t hold your breath on him stepping up to the plate.”

According to the Nov. 13 edition of the Penticton Western News our mayor feels the Monday Night Dinners for the homeless should seek an indoor facility.

The old legion building stands vacant. It has washrooms, and it would be an excellent venue for this Monday night event.

But, the mayor owns this building, so don’t hold your breath on him stepping up to the plate and offering this facility.
