Letter: Worthless pennies

Ever had a good look at the beaver on the Canadian nickel?

Ever had a good look at the beaver on the Canadian nickel?

The beaver who literally got skinned in the historical development of Canada, made the four-letter word work honourable with the enviable motto “busy as a beaver” and became the proud symbol of Canada. Hence Canada recognized the beaver, encapsulating its history by minting its image on the back side of a five cent coin supporting the top side of the coin with the image of status, power and wealth.

Now study the look on the engraved beaver and notice that it doesn’t at all look happy.

Why?

Well how would you feel if you worked as hard as the beaver and then discovered all it was  worth was no more than five worthless pennies?
