LETTERS: Looks don’t mean everything

I think there are other reasons more likely to explain the NDP’s loss than what was proposed in the letters to the editor.

I think there are other reasons more likely to explain the NDP’s loss than what was proposed in the letters to the editor.

More likely are that people fell under the spell of Justin Trudeau, forgetting what his father did or didn’t do. Trudeau showed his colours by standing for the Liberals rather than forging a new team or standing as an independent.  At least some people were definitely fed up with the Conservatives and perhaps some of those people held their nose and picked the Liberals.

I didn’t choose Justin and his team, nor Harper and his alleged team. I didn’t choose the NDP, but not because of Mulcair so much as the shameful history of the NDP (except for the leadership period of Jack Layton). Not everyone is so superficial as to pick leaders and parties for their looks.
