LETTERS: Penticton council needs manners

Thank you David Prystay for your community recognition and forgive those elected servants at city hall.

Re: The shabby treatment of David Prystay (Penticton Western News, May 20, Lakeside at odds with city over casino).

What motivates our city mothers-fathers? City council needs re-training at a school of good sense and decency.

Two years ago, when city hall and the Legion fumbled a much discussed recognition for Captain J.S. Snyder SMV, it was David Prystay who donated land, time, energy, money and initiative (along with Brian Hughes, Sherwood Trophies, Grey-back Construction and Meiklejohn Architects) creating a memorial for a soldier’s soldier.

Thank you David Prystay for your community recognition and forgive those elected servants at city hall, for they:

A: Either never went to sunday-school; or they B: Know not what they do; or they C: Are an impolite, political back-room bunch; or D: All of the above.
