I began volunteering at the Penticton 2016 BC Winter Games operation’s office on Martin Street a few months ago.
The operations manager, Maureen Barronoik, was exceptional in her leadership skills, abilities and guidance to the office volunteers and staff.
The Penticton 2016 BC Winter Games was an orchestration of all different operations. Everything is fine tuned.
During the Games I was a volunteer as a host at rhythmic gymnastics. It was a gift to me to reach out, share, smile and hug. As a volunteer this happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.
