LETTERS: Skaha study

We trust that the archeological study requested by the band on Skaha Lake Park will still be performed by an independent body.

Now that the Penticton mayor and council have negotiated a very generous deal with the Penticton Indian Band (again behind closed doors) — that will give the Band $150,000 to $200, 000 a year just as a good will gesture  — we trust that the archeological study requested by the band on Skaha Lake Park will still be performed by an independent body and will not be forgotten or completed in the near future to the satisfaction of the mayor.

Enough said, the plot thickens, you be the judge.
