LETTERS: Take democratic action

Upgrade the marina on its current property and build a waterslide on purchased land.  Many past and present citizens of Penticton dedicated their personal time, energy and money to create a legacy of natural beauty in our park.  Residents and visitors of all ages should continue to enjoy our exquisite green space free of charge, all year round.

Mr. Mayor and council, I urge you to take democratic action by calling a referendum. You were elected by the people of Penticton to listen to the voice of every taxpayer, not just a “trio.”
