LETTERS: Wanted: good paying jobs

The headlines are not painting a rosy picture of Penticton.

Child poverty an issue, Over 21 per cent of children living in our area are living in poverty,  Union keeps up fight to save laundry jobs — the headlines are not painting a rosy picture of  Penticton.

While the elected school board and city council give themselves Cadillac raises and benefits, the workers of this town get their hours and programs cut.

If we don’t keep the decent paying jobs that already exist in this  town  the numbers are going to go up and more than just businesses will suffer. So much is at risk.
