Orchards should support workers

Re: Region attempts to get a handle on illegal camping.May I please suggest a solution to not only the Town of Oliver’s problems related to the transient workers population. Since it is the orchards that are directly responsible for bringing the pickers into this area, it should be up to them to provide their workers with suitable accommodations via pickers’ cabins and wash facilities.

Re: Region attempts to get a handle on illegal camping.

May I please suggest a solution to not only the Town of Oliver’s problems related to the transient workers population. Since it is the orchards that are directly responsible for bringing the pickers into this area, it should be up to them to provide their workers with suitable accommodations via pickers’ cabins and wash facilities.

Under no circumstances should this be the responsibility of the rest of the taxpayers.
