Public oil company valid

I don’t think what was suggested by myself would violate any of the NAFTA conditions. If anything it upholds them as it attempts to ensure the continuation of “normal operation of North American energy markets,” and not artificially raise or lower prices. It does not violate Article 603(2) as it upholds fair market pricing by the principles of supply and demand… A public owned oil company would ensure the prevention of price fixing by oil companies.

What does NAFTA say about energy exports? See www.parl.gc.ca/Content/LOP/researchpublications/prb0633-e.htm.
