Just to keep your readers up to date on what will be happening at the Penticton and District Stamp Club, here are the dates of our meetings until the end of this year.

The first meeting of the fall season was held Sept.11. Oct. 2 will be a regular meeting with circuit books and small auction; Nov. 6, a regular meeting with large auction; and Dec. 4 will be a regular meeting with circuit books, small auction and education.

All of our meetings are held at the Library/Museum Auditorium starting at 2 p.m. and are open to members and guests. Membership cost is $10 per year for adults and $5 per year for youths. In order to place items on the auction table, one has to be a member. Non members are encouraged to bid on items at the auction.

A lot of the items auctioned off are the results of gifts to the stamp club from the public. Proceeds have been going to the cancer society. This year we are also including the Moog & Friends Hospice House as a recipient of proceeds of our auctions. Those in the community, not knowing what to do with stamp collections, please give the stamp club a call and donate your stamps to the club for auction. You may reach us at 250-492-3875 or by email: gboersma@telus.net.

We love to add new members to our roster and would love to see you come and get acquainted with our group.
