What’s up Doc?

Here we are, firmly ensconced in the year 2011. It’s the year of the rabbit. Let’s look at a few facts about family lepus, one of the farmer’s favourite nemeses, with many references about them being shot, trapped, mangled and eaten.

Often seen in garden beds eating succulents and terrorizing neighbourhood pets. They breed like crazy resulting in horrific overpopulation, as in Australia or Kelowna. They’re good to eat.

According to Chinese astrologers, this year is supposed to be full of peace and tranquility, but if it lives up to its namesake it will probably go out in December, shot full of holes leaving behind ravaged vegetation and 40 offspring. Save a farmer, eat a bunny this Easter.
