Wishing for simpler times

Back in the '60s, farmers only had to consider the weather changes (not government changes)

As I was reading the story on farmers in Oliver, my thoughts turned the “good years” of the ‘50s and ‘60s when life was much more natural with less worries (and did not cost millions of dollars either).

However, if one decides to locate near a river, chaos will and can happen at anytime, like anything else. It’s natural.

There obviously are too many government, environment, forestry and corporate departments taking over our living, although they too have to stay alive to do so, and must adhere to farmers’ productions to stay alive until we die of natural causes.

I wish this were the ‘60s again.

The farmers only had to consider the weather changes (not government changes).
