As I was reading the story on farmers in Oliver, my thoughts turned the āgood yearsā of the ā50s and ā60s when life was much more natural with less worries (and did not cost millions of dollars either).
However, if one decides to locate near a river, chaos will and can happen at anytime, like anything else. Itās natural.
There obviously are too many government, environment, forestry and corporate departments taking over our living, although they too have to stay alive to do so, and must adhere to farmersā productions to stay alive until we die of natural causes.
I wish this were the ā60s again.
The farmers only had to consider the weather changes (not government changes).
