Penticton Western News/Canadian Tire athlete of the week

Koleton Phipps is 19-years-old and is a member of the B.C. Mogul Team of Freestyle B.C. He began skiing at the age of three and eventually went on to become a member of the Apex Freestyle Club.

He was selected to the provincial team three years ago. Phipps wants to one day represent his country as a member of the Canadian Freestyle mogul team. His coaches describe him as one of the top junior skiers in Canada and expect big things from him this season.
