Simon Phillips is a student-athlete in Grade 12 at Penticton Secondary School who plays rugby for the Pen-High Lakers.
Phillips picked up rugby two years ago after his brother got him interested in the sport. He said he likes the aggressive play it requires when you are tackling, being in the rucks and flanking. Phillips also enjoys the team atmosphere of the sport.
