The Baldy Marathon offers four distances for more than 1,500 passionate runners on Oct. 1.

The event will include a full marathon, 20-kilometre, 10-km distance and Kid’s Run. The course will be set on the trails following the Okanagan River, with the 10K and 20K runners turning around at designated points and the Full Marathoners running to Osoyoos Lake and back.

The finish area will be in the same location as 2017 The Festival of the Grape, and as such will have a big celebration feeling with booths from 50-plus local wineries, family-friendly events, and include a commemorative finisher’s medal. The 2017 Baldy Marathon race fee also includes full entry into this year’s Festival of the Grape, a commemorative Baldy Marathon t-shirt, as well as access to the roving shuttle race-day transportation which will be operating both to and from Oliver and Osoyoos all day.

Registration is now open at https://skibaldy.com/marathon/ .
