KVR Express Grade 8 girls volleyball team captured the south zone championship.
The Express defeated the South Okanagan Secondary Hornets in three sets.
"The girls played extremely well and kept their cool in this pressure filled match," said Express coach Sheila Taylor, who watched her team win 16-14 .
