Flames bow to Venom in lacrosse series opener

The South Okanagan Flames trail its Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League series to Kamloops

The Kamloops Venom have a 1-0 series lead over the South Okanagan Flames following a 9-5 win on Tuesday.  The Venom lead the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League playoff series thanks to goals by Anthony Matusiak, Bowen Stauffner, Riley Peterson and Kyle Pauwels with two goals, while Tylor Seabrooke scored once. For the Flames it was Kaid Maclead  and Connor Walton with two and Tanner Thompson the other goal.

Game 2 of the series will be played in Oliver at 7:30 p.m.
