Former Penticton Vees forward Tyson Jost has been recalled by the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche.
After being out since October with an injury, Jost is back skating with the team on Monday. Jost skated in four games with the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage to get his legs ready for the NHL.
Jost was practicing on a line with Alexander Kerfoot (an alumni of the BCHL Coquitlam Express) and J.T. Compher.
“We are young, we are fast and we all think they game really well. It is fun to play with players like that who think the game. We were snapping the puck around pretty good today and we all live together too so we have some roommate chem(istry) going on,” said Jost.
