Penticton Structurlam Giants suffered their lone loss in the West Kelowna Mosquito baseball tournament on the weekend.

The Giants took second after going undefeated in round robin play against West Kelowna, Kelowna and Vernon. They battled back in the semifinal versus the West Kelowna Red Sox, scoring six runs in the bottom of the final inning to overcome a five-run deficit. That effort helped them reach the championship against the Vernon Canadians and finished with a 5-1 mark.

Two weeks before that, the Giants played in an eight-team tournament and went undefeated in that round robin play. They defeated the West Kelowna Royals for the championship.
