Hitmen, Broncos and Wolverines net wins in mens rec hockey

The Penticton Men's Rec Hockey League had high scoring affairs in recent action.

Eric Cerutti scored twice as the Broncos tied the EcoDry Ice Dogs 6-6 in Penticton Men's Rec Hockey action.

Also scoring for the Broncos were Andrew Pond, Tyler Ehlers, Bob Pond and Jordan Moss. Scoring for the Ice Dogs were Mitch MacMillan with three, Dustin Johnson a pair and Daylin Devlin.

Joel Post netted a hat trick as the Hitmen defeated the Gametime Sports Wolverines 6-5. Also scoring for the Hitmen were Luc Rioux, Michael Pond and Mark Petry. Scorers for the Wolverines were Derek Grimm and Matt Fraser with two and Sam Nigg.

Petry and Blain Ford each scored twice to lelp the Hitmen defeat the EcoDry Ice Dogs 8-4. Post, Michael Pond, Michael Penny and Tristan MacLaggan also scored for the Hitmen. MacMillan and Nick Riep scored for the Ice Dogs.

The Broncos defeated the Biscuits 4-2. Ehlers scored twice for the victors, while Jordan Simpson and Moss scored the other goals. Hitting the scoresheet for the Biscuits were Kenton Johnson and Doug Chadwick.

The Wolverines topped the Ice Dogs in a high scoring affair, 10-8. Fraser led the Wolverines with a hat trick, while Patrick Martin, Dylan Burton, Josh Dacosta all scored twice. Nigg scored once. MacMillan sniped four goals for the losing side, while David Kozier scored twice with Kris Goodjohn and Shane Doyon scoring one each.
