KISU swimmers enjoy strong provincial performances

Three KISU swimmers achieve personal best performances in AA meet in Kamloops

Belize and Jordan Souch-Tremblay as well as Ava Wall put on strong performances during the B.C. Long Course AA Provincial swim championships in Kamloops at the Tournament Capital Centre, June 26-28.

“Although KISU had only three swimmers attend the AA meet, they did a great job of representing our club.  All three swimmers made it to the top eight finals in multiple swims and all three made it to the medal podium” said KISU coach Tina Hoeben.

All three achieved best performances, as Belize (Girls 14 and over) took 16.98 seconds off of her 800-metre free style, while Jordan (boys 11 and Under) took 38.94 seconds off his 400-m free, and 33.32 seconds off of his 800-m free. Wall (Girls 11 and under) took 11.25 seconds off her 100 backstroke and 11.42 seconds off of her 100 fly.

Hoeben was very pleased with their performances.

“It was a great way to end off a fabulous season,” she said.
