Lakers captain JR Krolik setup Steven Killy for the winner 55 seconds into the period of their first round matchup in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League playoff game. Once again, the Posse scored the first goal of the game, and have in every game of the series, as Alex Demchuk put the Posse up 1-0 late in the first. Sasha Hahn scored the other two goals for the Lakers, who will return to Princeton forcing a seventh and deciding game. Lakers goalie Jessie Gordichuk was named first star with 36 saves.
