Penticton athlete of the week: Alice Wang

Penticton Western News athlete of the week for Feb. 26

Alice Wang first started competing with KISU in 2012. She has always been a fast swimmer, but this season, her coach said she has really taken a big leap forward in her results.

At the Salmon Arm Regional Championship meet a couple of weeks ago, Wang came home with two new Tier II times and added a third at a local time trial.

This is Wang’s first season in the academy program. Her coach said she is looking forward to seeing what Wang can do in the next few years.
